Fashion Portfolio

The purpose of my fashion portfolio is to showcase my styling abilities by highlighting wardrobe collages I created on an app called “smart closet”, and mood boards I made based on my favorite fashion influencers and current fashion trends. The mood boards displayed the fashion influencer and three outfits I could picture them wearing. In addition, the other mood boards are shown, such as “Going Back to The ’90s,” which highlights fashion trends that were popular in the 90’s era and are slowly making their way back into 2022 but with a twist on modern-day wear.

Trend & Styling Boards

I call this “Diva On the Go” and can be worn in the fall or spring. Based on the lavender color shown in the sweater, purse, and shoes, I feel that the look can be pulled off more in the springtime than in the fall due to the bright colors. Others tend to lean more towards clothing with dark and neutral colors in the fall season, such as brown, burgundy, burnt orange, and black. One can either wear this outfit to dinner with a friend (or your boo/babe/husband, I know we’re getting grown love), shopping in the city, or a night at the club with your girlfriends. I believe the sweater and purse were from PrettyLittleThing the skirt as well. The shoes are from IRO, earrings from essentials, necklace from Robert Lee, and the sunglasses are from Fendi.
This outfit is one of my personal favorites, and I call it “Colors With Patterns.”
The outfit displayed is more of a fall/winter look and can be worn to run errands, go sightseeing or attend a fashion event. The outfit is what I would wear on a 36-degree cold day like today was, with leather gloves, long socks, and a black or brown scarf.
The pop of orange from the rag and bone coat and Loewe glasses gives the outfit a bright feel, while the Stand Studio fur leopard bucket hat and leopard PLT bag make the look fun and eye-catching. The black turtle neck is from Moncler; the boots are from “See” by Chloe, Jeans from Dondup, Necklace from Macy’s, and the watch is from Bulova.
This outfit is called “Summer Sleek, Let’s Go Eat.” The outfit is more of late spring, early summer, or even a resort type of look that you can wear on vacation to Jamacia or the virgin islands. When going out to brunch to drink mimosas, lunch, and on a beach or boardwalk ( I suggest throwing a pair of navy or tan flip-flops in your beach bag before leaving the house before walking for extended periods). The shirt shown is from Altuzarra, the shorts come from LAgence, the shoes from Tory Burch, the clutch bag shown is from Burberry, the watch is by Rebecca Minkoff, Earrings by Kenneth Cole, Necklace by Robert Lee, and lastly the hat is by Maison Michel.
This casual outfit is something I call “Chic & Rich.” The look displayed can be gender neutral and paired with shorts or jeans for men who prefer not to expose their legs. When wearing this outfit, you can go and see a movie, walk around the city, or attend a day party. The shortcut jean dress is from PrettyLittleThing, the sneakers are from NastyGal, the Hat is from Off-White, and the bag is from Givenchy, Watch, Rebecca Minkoff, and lastly, the Earrings are from Kwiat. The eyewear showed I was unsure of the brand. However, I think these “Rich Girl” sunglasses from “The Luxe Vault” would be a perfect accessory to top off this outfit.
This outfit is something I describe as “Icy Casually.” The look is a mix of fast fashion and affordable brands, while the accessories shown with the outfit lean more towards the expensive side. I can see one wearing this outfit to a basketball game, a concert, or on vacation to a different state while shopping in the nearest city. The shirt and bottoms are from PrettyLittleThing, the Sneakers come from Nike, the bag is from Pinko, the watch is from Cartier, the glasses are from Dior, and the earrings come from Kwiat.
This outfit I created two summers ago, but since it is February and when I think of February, I think of the color red because it’s love month (my birthday is also next month), so I feel one can so pull this look off in February. You can describe this look as “Love Me,” If you have no valentine this year, I suggest wearing this outfit and treating yourself to a day of self-care. Get a manicure and pedicure, book a massage or a waxing session or get a facial from your local esthetician. If you are in a relationship, wear this outfit if you plan to do something playful like laser tag (please remove the earrings before playing, the last thing I want you to do is to lose a pair), or sightseeing around an unknown city. The watch is from Rebecca Minkoff. I believe the sunglasses came from fashion nova or PrettyLittleThing. The jeans are from MOTHER, the top from PrettyLittleThing, the Shoes from Balenciaga, Bag from Pinko, and the earrings from Francesca’s.
The look is a casual yet flashy outfit that includes expensive pieces from multiple designers but is styled casually; wear one can wear this and forget that they are wearing designer. The look is described as ” Flashy Black and White” since black and white are the two primary colors that bring out the entire outfit, and the silver jewelry styled with it makes the outfit “flashy.” As an aspiring stylist, I would wear this look on a cold winter day or an early spring day to a test shoot, photoshoot, or video shoot for one of my clients. The shirt is from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, the pants are from Nanushka, I believe the shoes are from nastygal, but I’m not 100% sure. The watch is from Rebecca Minkoff, The necklace is from Kingsley Ryan, the bag from Ms.Chanel, earrings from Effy and lastly the hat is from Valentino.
Titled “Decked Out Winter Babe.” The outfit leans towards a classy/casual feel with the Sandro sweater and black rose brooch by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. The look can be pulled off as a winter or fall outfit and be worn in early spring. I recommend this outfit for someone who wants to look nice while running a few errands (ex., home decor shopping, clothes shopping, makeup shopping) or having dinner with your friends around in the nearest city. The boots are from A.P.C, Watch from Seiko, the Shades from Nroda, the clutch came from Balenciaga, and the jeans come from Dondup.
This is my favorite summer look that I created, it’s so simple but yet so fun especially with the pattern displayed on the top and the unique design of the clutch. Titled ” Simple And Cute”
This look is another influencer/random person styling board I created based on the model’s style. The garments and accessories in this look would be for a fashionista going for a vintage and hip-hop look. I made this look in Adobe photoshop while in college. Unfortunately, I did not list the clothing brands showcased in this mood board. The blue jacket shown on the board with the design on the back can be paired with the black graphic t-shirt, leather skirt, blue converse, and sunglasses shown. The bottom look is more of a casual outfit with a pop of color.
I created this styling board back in college in my business of fashion class. The styling board was designed when I first developed my blog site and made my first post based on a homework assignment in Retail Consumers. The styling guru in the top left corner is no other than Ms. Anaya Ivy, and she is a wardrobe stylist, influencer, and cosmetic line owner. The purpose of this board was to create three outfits that I feel she would wear based on her style. Unfortunately, due to this being my first mood board, I didn’t have a chance to write down the clothing and accessory brands used. However, I remember where I found some of the items displayed; the bucket hat is from Fashion Nova and the black and white turtleneck bodysuits. The tan fur jacket is from Chloe, the jeans from fashion nova, the ivory-colored purse is from Chanel, and the light brown and black bag is from Burberry.

Let’s build something together.
